Key Responsibilities
- Architect large, multi-system technical solutions designed for long-term scalability and reliability.
- Define and drive adoption of organization-wide engineering standards, frameworks, and reference architectures.
- Set domain-level service reliability objectives (SLOs) and guide reliability improvement initiatives.
- Lead security architecture and threat modeling efforts across multiple systems.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape technical roadmaps and platform strategy.
- Mentor engineers across teams and participate in design and architecture reviews.
- Deliver measurable improvements in operational and engineering metrics such as deployment frequency and incident recovery time.
Requirements / Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale.
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure, observability, and security best practices.
- Deep understanding of API design, testing strategies, and system integration.
- Proven ability to lead cross-team technical initiatives and build consensus.
- 9+ years of professional software development experience.
- Demonstrated success driving organization-wide engineering improvements.
Preferred Experience
- Experience leading platform migrations or large-scale system refactors.
- Background working in financial technology, lending platforms, or regulated industries.
- Experience defining technical standards across multiple engineering teams.
- Familiarity with reliability engineering practices and incident management frameworks.
