Seedless is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help design, build, and scale its AI-powered synthetic data platform. This is a senior, full-time role focused on owning end-to-end feature development, architecting scalable backend systems, and advancing AI-driven data generation for regulated industries.
Seedless is an early-stage artificial intelligence company building agent-based systems that generate high-quality fictional data. Its platform enables organizations in healthcare, legal, and financial services to safely test, train, and demonstrate AI products without exposing sensitive or regulated data.
This role offers the opportunity to work on core platform architecture, influence technical direction, and collaborate closely with product and commercial teams in a fast-growing startup environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the design, implementation, deployment, and monitoring of major platform features.
- Build scalable backend systems that support AI-driven synthetic data generation.
- Translate product and customer requirements into production-ready technical solutions.
- Model complex business domains such as ERP, HR, CRM, and financial systems in software.
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and infrastructure cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to balance technical tradeoffs and business needs.
- Identify and proactively address technical gaps, infrastructure improvements, and system bottlenecks.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term platform scalability.
Requirements / Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience designing and building backend systems and APIs.
- Proven ability to independently own and deliver complete features end to end.
- Solid understanding of system architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Docker, and Terraform.
- Strong communication skills for documenting systems and working with non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Python and backend frameworks such as Django or similar.
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered systems (e.g., RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, LLM APIs).
- Background working with data-intensive or AI-driven platforms.
- Familiarity with regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, or legal technology.
- Startup or high-growth company experience.

- Base salary: $120,000 – $180,000 per year
