Remote Leverage is hiring a Senior Full Stack MERN Developer to join as a founding engineer on a new, independent SaaS platform. This is a full-time, fully remote role, open to candidates worldwide, focused on taking an early-stage product from MVP to production-ready scale.

In addition to its core services, the company is building a proprietary SaaS platform backed by a unique talent dataset designed to improve how organizations discover, evaluate, and hire remote talent.
This role is hands-on and execution-focused, offering significant ownership and influence over the product’s technical direction. The Senior Full Stack MERN Developer will work closely with the founder to build a stable, scalable, and secure platform for real-world customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Take an existing MVP and evolve it into a production-ready SaaS product
- Design, build, and refine backend APIs and data models
- Improve frontend usability, performance, and overall user experience
- Ensure platform stability, security, and scalability for public launch
- Identify and resolve bugs, edge cases, and technical debt
- Make pragmatic architectural decisions that support long-term growth
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured TypeScript code
- Apply a product-focused engineering mindset beyond feature delivery
- Work closely with the founder to move quickly while maintaining engineering discipline
- Adapt to evolving requirements in an iterative, early-stage environment
Requirements / Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Strong experience with TypeScript across both frontend and backend
- Solid experience building production-grade interfaces with React
- Hands-on experience developing Node.js and Express APIs
- Experience working with MongoDB in production environments
- Proven track record of shipping and maintaining real-world SaaS products
- Ability to scale products from “working MVP” to reliable, production-ready systems
- Strong product-minded engineering approach
- Comfort working without rigid specifications and iterating quickly
- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Professional, collaborative, and proactive working style
